Take Action
Protect Medicaid. Protect our Communities.

Access to health care coverage is essential for everyone. In New Hampshire, Medicaid helps over 187,000 of our residents, including children, pregnant women, people with disabilities, veterans, and older adults in nursing homes, access the care they need. If the federal government makes budget cuts to Medicaid, it will put our NH Medicaid programs at serious risk, with consequences to individual health outcomes, our economy, and our overall health care system. These cuts have NOT happened yet, which means this is an important time to take action to protect Medicaid.

Take action to show lawmakers that

New Hampshire needs Medicaid:

Whether you are a Medicaid recipient, caregiver, health care professional, community advocate, or business owner whose employees depend on this coverage, your voice can make a difference.

Contact your state legislators and the Governor to urge them to protect New Hampshire Medicaid and stop cuts to these essential programs in our state.

The House-passed budget includes a 3% Medicaid reimbursement rate decrease. This would further strain our health care system and reduce access to care for our residents. Email NH lawmakers to urge them to make health investments in NH's state budget, not cuts.

Stay tuned for more actions you can take to protect Medicaid and our communities!
